The focus of this workshop is direct observation and response to still life – specifically flowers – in the studio. The class stresses compostion, working with a limited palette, and paint handling. The alla-prima approach is encouraged as a way to keep paintings loose, lively and fresh. Materials will be supplied and are included in workshop fee.
